The Sheboygan Area Youth Symphony (SAYS) will introduce
symphonic instruments to the general public during the
‘instrument petting zoo’ at Remedy Church, 806 N. 8th
Street, on June 15th. This educational presentation is
open to people of all ages, not just children.

There will be plenty of star power at Lakeland College's
Todd Wehr Center on Saturday night thanks to a pair of
performers from ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" and eight
local celebrity dancers.

Carol Shamory will conduct a Master Class on Friday, May
10th at 4:00pm at the Weill Center for the Performing Arts
in Sheboygan. Shamory, in the manner of singers from the
Golden Age, performs a wide variety of repertoire
encompassing diverse musical styles and periods, as she
sings in Italian, French, German, Polish, Czech and Russian.
She has also appeared as concert and operatic soprano in
Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Poland. She is also a
published poet and composer.

The SAYS Concert Orchestra and Sinfonia present their last
concert of the season this Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 3:00 at
the Weill Center for the Performing Arts They will be
performing a vast range of repertoire that will offer
something for everyone. The Concert Orchestra is directed by
Debbie Williamson and the Sinfonia is directed by Susan
Stauber.

principal and section string bass and principal viola from 5
to 6:30 p.m. April 16 at First United Lutheran Church, 2401
Kohler Memorial Drive, Sheboygan.

Fourth-graders in Sheboygan County were invited to attend
two 45-minute orchestral performances at the Stefanie H.
Weill Center for the Performing Arts in Sheboygan on
Wednesday as part of the annual Children’s Concerts, which
are sponsored by the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra and the
Sheboygan Area School District. Students were introduced
to the instruments of the orchestra, musical terms, famous
composers and concert manners.
