Emile Blasczyk, Accompanist
Emile always had a love for music. Whether singing, ballet or tap dancing, she was happiest when engaged in any sort of musical performance. At age 8, after several years of persuading her parents to let her take piano lessons, her love for piano and piano performance began. Emile quickly learned from many local teachers, but at age 11 she began taking lessons from Dr. Arthur Johnson at Lakeland College.
She further developed her abilities in piano performance accomplishing winner of the Badger State Piano Competition at age 13. Shortly after she began accompanying students for local high school solo ensembles, eventually accompanying local high school choirs for their winter and spring concerts.
Emile’s accomplishments include winner of the Michibago Composition Competition, winner of the 2014 “Who’s Got Talent” competition, runner up in the Fox Valley Symphony’s 2013 Youth Soloist Competition, two time finalist of the Youth Chopin Competition along with many other awards. Emile was also a recipient of the Kohler Foundation Ruth De Young Scholarship for Artistic Excellence.
As a composer/writer, Emile started a piano trio by the name of Vicellno in 2013. She enjoyed writing original music for the group as well as arranging music for the trio.
Emile is currently working toward a Graphic Arts and Web Design Degree from Lakeshore Technical College. Emile is also the Accompanist for the Lakeshore Youth Chorale. In her spare time, she can be found behind the camera taking pictures for her photography business.
